OFD to Host ‘Receiving and Responding to Negative Feedback’ Workshop for Faculty

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) invites faculty to Receiving and Responding to Negative Feedback, a roundtable discussion that will offer strategies for processing, learning from and responding to negative feedback in ways that maintain effectiveness, productivity, and self-worth. The workshop will take place via Zoom on Monday, April 25 from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m.

Workshop organizer Sarah Poissant, OFD chancellor’s leadership fellow and associate professor of communication disorders, will facilitate a panel of UMass faculty members: Brian Baldi, assistant director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, senior lecturer; Michelle Budig, senior vice provost for faculty affairs, professor of sociology; Lorraine Cordeiro, director of the Center for Research on Families, associate professor of nutrition; Joya Misra, director of the Institute for Social Science Research, professor of sociology.
