Obituary: Susan Kislo, Retired Controller’s Office Clerk

Susan A. Kislo, 63, of Sunderland, a retired clerk in the Controller’s Office, died Aug. 25.

Born in Northampton, July 23, 1955, she graduated from Northampton High School and did post-graduate work at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton.

She joined UMass Amherst as a clerk in the Controller’s Office, where she worked until her retirement in 2017.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Watson; four brothers, Joseph Kislo Sr. and his companion Betsy of Amherst, Paul Kislo and his wife Barbara of Leeds, David Kislo and his wife Kathy of Southampton and John A. Kislo of Chesterfield.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. in Sunderland Congregational Church with the Rev. Barbara Seamon officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
