Call for Applications and Proposals for 2025-26 Chancellor’s Leadership Fellowships
The Office of Faculty Development has announced the opening of the nomination and application process for Chancellor’s Leadership Fellowships (CLF) for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Chancellor’s Leadership Fellowship program seeks to cultivate future campus leaders by offering a half-time, one-year, temporary appointment to an administrative area on campus and providing mentoring from the leader of the host unit. In addition, fellows are expected to launch a significant program during their fellowship year. CLF appointments include a 50% teaching release and one month of summer salary.
Full-time tenured faculty, senior lecturers and librarians on continuing appointments are eligible for the fellowship. Online applications are due by Monday, Feb. 3.
The 2025-26 CLF four proposal areas are:
- Mount Ida Campus: Program development, in-person and experiential learning, at the Newton campus.
- Fine Arts Center: Research demonstrating the positive effects of the arts on public health and well-being, particularly among higher education students.
- Academic Affairs and the Chancellor’s Office: Applicants may propose an area within either of these offices and suggest mentors to support their fellowship year.
Details about proposal areas, lists of past Chancellor’s Leadership Fellows by year and the application can be found on the Office of Faculty Development website.
