The Department of Art invites the campus and local communities to shop, support emerging student artists and pick up local and unique gifts at its Holiday Art Sale on Friday, Nov. 21, from noon-4:30 p.m. inside the Studio Arts Building at 110 Thatcher Road.

The event offers a unique opportunity for UMass art students to develop valuable entrepreneurship skills while showcasing their artistic creations. Artwork on sale will include prints, ceramics, stickers, fiber art, tote bags, t-shirts, functional pottery, jewelry, paintings, do-dads, fun stuff and more. Over 50 student artists are anticipated to participate.

The Holiday Art Sale also serves as a special occasion for the local Amherst community to come together, support emerging student artists and celebrate the festive season.

All UMass Amherst art majors and those currently enrolled in art courses are invited to participate and share their work. Participating students will receive 100% of their profits with no selling or setup fees.

More information on the event can be found on the Department of Art’s website.
