Each semester we welcome new UMass families to campus on move-in day. Staff, students and family volunteers are on hand in the to greet families, share resources and answer questions.
Helping Students
Student Care Supply Closets Fund
As part of the Student Care and Emergency Response Fund, the Dean of Students Office offers a free supply closet to help supplement personal care and household item needs, such as shampoo and conditioner, soap and body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes, paper products, cleaning products, items for students with children, pads and tampons, and hair products for natural hair. Food Security Fund
Food Security on college campuses is a growing concern across the nation, as recent surveys have identified that more than 1 in 3 college students were recently food insecure. UMass Amherst is committed to combatting this issue and supporting all students at UMass who are experiencing food insecurity. If you are in a position to do so, please consider joining us in supporting this important initiative.
