NEUTC Convenes at Norwich University
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us this year at the Norwich Leadership Summit & 2nd Annual NEUTC Symposium. With more than 50+ in attendance, the group this year spent a lovely 2 days in Northfield, VT at Norwich University.
Attendees were able to sit in on lectures focused on leadership and how to be a better leader, as well as the current and future state of transportation safety and the role of NEUTC consortium members in this area. The group was also led through some "physical" leadership activities by a handful of Norwich ROTC students. A tour was also given of Norwich University's own Sullivan Museum & History Center, a Smithsonian-affiliated museum dedicated to displaying the history of Norwich University and its founder, along with exhibitions of the experiences that many Norwich students and alumni would go on to have around the globe. Some attendees were able to find the time to fit in some competitive game playing and even a hike.
Big thank you to LtGen John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired) for taking the time to speak to this group about his own hardships, experiences, and perspective on leadership during his decorated career, as well as Norwich University for hosting everyone who was able to join. Thank you as well to all the students who were able to make it and share some of their current research with the group through a poster session.
