We are pleased to announce that Amy Bessey, Mary Lavery, and Eric Sullivan, NAL undergraduate research assistants, will be joining nursing programs at Northeastern University, Johns Hopkins University, and Belmont University, respectively.

Amy Bessey received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. During her time in the NAL, Amy worked as an interviewer using the NDSR software to obtain dietary intake data. She joined the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in 2017.

Mary Lavery completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Spanish. In the NAL, she performed literature reviews for iDXA measurement conversions, as well as helped with data collection. She started a master’s degree in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in the summer of 2018.  

Eric Sullivan received his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. He performed literature reviews and completed a justification document for the UMass Healthy Campus Study during his time in the NAL. He will begin his Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Belmont University's School of Nursing in the fall of 2018.
