The Wind Ensemble: We Must Rise.. celebrates the life and work of Abraham Lincoln with two monumental pieces: Copland's Lincoln Portrait, narrated by Walter Carroll from New England Public Radio, and David Maslanka's Symphony No. 4.  Also Augusta Reed Thomas' Magneticfireflies & Kevin Walczyk's Songs of Paradise.

The Percussion Ensemble performs Tan Dun's Elegy: Snow in June, Lou Harrison's Suite for Percussion, George Crumb's Idyll for the Misbegotten & Aurel Holló's beFORe JOHN: 39 - the Dream of the Manichaeian.
