An in-person Day of Percussion for the community, high school and college students and their families.

With guest artists including Mike Truesdell, Percussion Professor at Ithaca College
Includes percussion & marimba literature concerts, UMass and H.S. Percussion Ensemble Showcase, African Drum Workshop, and a masterclass and recital (4:30pm) by guest artist Mike Truesdell
Free and open to all. Option to buy $5 raffle tickets for percussion equipment prizes; sponsors TBA.
MASKING AND ILLNESS POLICIES
Until further notice, all patrons, and visitors to on-campus events sponsored by the Department of Music & Dance must wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status. UMass Amherst's 2021-22 policy requires all faculty, staff, and students to be vaccinated and also wear masks indoors. If you are experiencing any possible COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive, or have had close contact with someone who has tested positive, please do not attend.
