New England Collegiate Jazz Festival

Coordinated by Jeffrey Holmes and Tom Giampietro

Along with UMass Amherst ensembles, the festival features combos and big bands from the University of Connecticut, University of Rhode Island, Western Connecticut State University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Smith College, Amherst College, and Holyoke Community College.

Ensembles from the UMass Jazz & African American Music Studies area will continue the festival, overlapping with the 27th Annual High School Jazz Festival the following day, April 5.
