The Mahogany Brass quintet, comprised of five rising brass players from the northeast, brings a refined and blended sound to the performance stage. Originally born from an all-undergraduate group at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the group is now made up of musicians from the musical hubs of Boston and New York City.

In addition to their full-time studies at Boston University and the Manhattan School of Music, the ensemble regularly meets in both cities and looks forward to expanding their presence as a dynamic performing group in both musical centers.

They are excited to share their debut performance as an ensemble at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and look forward to future performances and events as a group.
