Faculty Concert: Jamie-Rose Guarrine, soprano with Martha Fischer, piano
Fischer is the Head of Collaborative Piano and Associate Director of the Mead-Witter School of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
This concert is in preparation for an album recording and release- New Songs from New England, on the PARMA label, to be released Dec. 2025.
The repertoire includes newly commissioned works by Greg Brown and Scott Gendel, as well as music by New England women composers Gwyneth Walker, Alice Parker, and Juliana Hall. All the repertoire is by New England composers or poets.
