The Chapel Jazz Ensemble, led by Prof. Thomas Giampietro, performs big band tunes in Bezanson Hall; a free concert.
Music by Pat Metheny, Oliver Nelson, Mary Lou Williams, Leonard Cohen, Peter Chapman, Jeff Coffin, Wayne Shorter and alum Jon Gardner (G'12), with arrangements by Ernie Wilkins, Alex Moore ('25), Alex Lee-Clark (G'10), Michael Jenner & Matt Twaddle ('19).
Featuring two special guest UMass student vocalists, Chestina Thrower and Norah Thomas.
