A free informational session designed to introduce high school students, their parents and teachers to the classical voice audition experience at the collegiate level. The day's events will include a panel discussion about the collegiate voice audition, and a Q&A session with the faculty.
Our Voice Area students pursue diverse degrees including Minor in Voice, the Bachelor of Arts in Applied Voice, a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a BM in Voice Performance. Many of our alumni are working as music educators or pursuing their MM in Performance at Juilliard, Peabody Conservatory, Baylor University, the University of Wisconsin and the University of Michigan, to name a few.

10:15 AM - Break (for those registered to sing the Mock Auditions, warm-up space will be available)

At the end of the day’s events, attendees are welcome to join some of our current students for lunch in one of the campus dining halls. (Lunch in dining halls is not included with registration; cost is approximately $15 per person).
