Music History, Associate Professor, tenure-track
The Department of Music and Dance of the University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks to hire an Associate Professor of Music History (with tenure). The position is open to candidates with research and teaching expertise in any area of historical musicology, although preference will be accorded to candidates whose expertise can complement that of current faculty. This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the Associate Professor rank to begin September 1, 2026.
Music Education, Lecturer, non tenure-track

Position: Lecturer of Music Education. This is a full-time nine-month Non-Tenure track (NTT) Lecturer position to begin on September 1, 2026. The initial appointment period will be two years with the possibility of reappointment governed by the MSP Collective Bargaining Agreement.
