Tim Anderson

Tim Anderson (he/him/his) has been a music educator since 1998.  In that time, he has taught middle school through college.  He has been a band director, as well as taught courses in music education and music appreciation.  Before coming to UMass Amherst in 2011, he taught for five years at Fresno State University.  Fall 2026 is the first semester Tim is teaching Music Appreciation at UMass.  He has degrees from the University of Iowa, University of Florida, and University of Illinois.
