Eric Roth

Eric Roth has been working in the Publicity and Marketing office for over 25 years. A cellist and administrator with a Masters in Music degree from UMass Amherst in 1996, he also has Bachelors degrees from SUNY Binghamton and the Boston Conservatory. At the Department of Music and Dance, he excels at website maintenance, writing, and editing, and helps to create concert programs, posters, monitor slides, event calendars and the annual Fanfare magazine. Outside of UMass, Eric teaches Music Together for young children and their caregivers, and plays cello with the popular music groups SatinWood (70’s cover songs) and Big Yellow Wooly Trousers (original songs). He also plays solo cello and chamber music for special events/ceremonies and as part of hospice care.
