Allegra Vacin

Since she first began tuning pianos in 2019, Vacin has worked extensively in homes, schools, showrooms and performance venues throughout NYC. Notable venues include The Beacon Theatre, The Metropolitan Opera, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Soon after receiving her Bachelor of Music at SUNY Purchase, she landed a full-time Factory Piano Tuner position at Steinway & Sons in Astoria Queens. Post Steinway factory employment, she continued her education in piano technology through apprenticeships with some of NYC’s finest piano technicians and rebuilders. She has built up an impressive private clientele as well as notable contracts with The Metropolitan Opera, Columbia University, and The New School. In 2025, she attended the Steinway & Sons Technical Academy, where she received her certificate in both Grand Action Regulation and Spirio Service.
