Our exceptional Kristen DeAngelis served as a panelist at a Congressional Briefing hosted by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), titled “Microbial Innovations: Harnessing Microbes for the Future.” Sponsored by Senator Ed Markey, the briefing took place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center and brought together leading scientists and policymakers to examine the role of microbial research in advancing the U.S. bioeconomy.
