The Microbiology Impact
Our Microbiology major has one the highest rates of medical school acceptance on campus. Many graduates continue onto graduate school, including our highly ranked Master's Programs, PhD program, and Applied Molecular Biotechnology M.S. program.

Student Success
Victoria Selser to Receive Public Health Leadership Award
Victoria Selser, an Epidemiologist with the City of Fitchburg Health Department, will receive a Local Public Health Leadership Award from the Massachusetts Public Health Alliance at their Spring Awards Breakfast on June 6, 2025. Ms. Selser was a member of the UMass Microbiology Class of 2021.
