COVID-19 Vaccine

If you are vaccinated outside of Massachusetts, you must upload your COVID-19 vaccine information to the Patient Portal.

COVID-19 Testing

Asymptomatic and symptomatic COVID-19 testing is available at Mount Ida Campus Health Clinic in Appleton House. Watch this video to learn what to expect when you come in for asymptomatic testing. Symptomatic testing is available by appointment; call 617-243-1381 to schedule. For asymptomatic testing, you are required to make an appointment on the UMass Health Hub.

We are located in Appleton House (Building 21), behind the Veterinary Technology Building.

Action Items

1. Make sure you are registered for the UMass Patient Portal. You will use the Patient Portal to submit immunization records and health documents, schedule health appointments online, view secure messages, and more. If you have trouble registering or accessing the portal, please review our FAQs or email uhsportalhelp@umass.edu.

2. Opt-in to receive text messages from Mount Ida Campus Health and Counseling so you can receive important communications via text, including Zoom links for your telehealth appointments.

  1. Login to SPIRE
  2. Once logged in, click Main Menu > My Personal Information > Phone Numbers
  3. Select Local and/or Cell Phone from the dropdown menu, make sure your cell phone number is listed correctly, and click Save
  4. Login to the Patient Portal. Click the Forms tab, select Texting Opt In/Opt Out, and follow instructions to opt in
