Academics

UMass Amherst is pleased to have been granted approval by the UMass Board of Trustees and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, to continue the Veterinary Technology program at Mount Ida.

The program, which has continuing accreditation by the American Veterinary Medication Association, provides a seamless transition for former Mount Ida College students in the Veterinary Technology Program. The program gives students an opportunity to become certified veterinary technicians through training in state-of-the-art veterinary technology facilities. Students benefit from instruction by first-rate faculty, and develop industry skills needed to excel on the job from day one.
