Information for Mount Ida Students
The University of Massachusetts has created this website to assist current Mount Ida students with information regarding transfer admissions and curriculum policies, deadlines, and contact information for the various UMass campuses. We hope you find this information helpful. Please feel free to use the Resource Guide provided to contact any of the individual campus offices directly with your questions.
All questions about transfer admissions should be referred to the respective Admissions Offices. The Admissions officers will coordinate with appropriate personnel within departments to provide transfer advice and academic counseling.
Interior Architecture and Design (IA+D) and Fashion Design
The transfer admissions application deadline is September 1, 2018 for UMass Amherst, UMass Dartmouth, and UMass Lowell and August 27, 2018 for UMass Boston.
The University of Massachusetts system will charge in-state tuition to all Mount Ida students who are citizens and permanent U.S. residents.
UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, UMass Dartmouth, and UMass Lowell have committed to maximizing credit transfer for Mount Ida students.
UMass Amherst, UMass Dartmouth, and UMass Lowell have waived their 45-credit residency requirement for Mount Ida students.
The University of Massachusetts system has agreed to accept Mount Ida core curriculum/General Education courses.
