  • The department offers the Remote Statistics M.S. Degree through the UMass Amherst satellite campus in Newton (Boston Area).
  • The in-person Statistics M.S. Degree is also offered at the UMass Amherst satellite campus in Newton (Boston Area), with entirely evening classes.
  • The Remote 4+1 Statistics M.S. Degree (Remote Accelerated Statistics M.S. Degree) is also available, with the 5th year completed remotely.

The Remote Statistics M.S. Degree is offered through the Newton Mount Ida campus of UMass Amherst, with Professor Erin Conlon directing the program. This is a completely flexible degree, with all classes offered both remotely and in person. All courses are offered in the evenings. 

Application review begins January 10 for Fall enrollment, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis through June 30 for fall enrollment (domestic applicants; May 31 for international applicants). Applicants are notified of admissions decisions within 10 business days after the complete application is received.
