LGRT 1685 Colloquium Room
I'll write down / "derive" the equations of fluid mechanics with historical comments and briefly discuss the many adjectives and what they mean. I'll also give context with regards to acoustics and shock waves, and define weak (and weak*) solutions. I'll list the major achievements over the last 60 years or so, and (of course) describe some of my own recent results.
