How many guests would you need to invite to a party to guarantee that there are n people who all know each other and m people who are all strangers? To answer this question we will begin by explore graphs and cliques. We will end at an open problem in graph theory. This talk is aimed at a general math curious audience, no prior knowledge of combinatorics is needed!
