In this talk, I would like to briefly discuss gradient descent and its variations. We will talk about the concept of gradient descent and then apply the method to neural networks. We will keep it as basic as we can. You can think of this as a very basic and short introduction to neural networks. Also, I will give a short presentation on coding as well if time permits. Feel free to bring your laptop to copy a short Python code(if time permits).
