Soergel Bimodules are a categorification of the Hecke Algebra, and their Hochschild Homology categorifies traces in the Hecke Algebra. This algebraic structure gives rise to a well-known homological link invariant called the Triply-Graded Link homology. I’ll describe a geometric perspective on this framework described by the structure of gauge symmetry breaking for bundles over intervals and circles. This perspective allows us to not only describe Triply-Graded link homology geometrically but also offer an explanation for a related family of link homologies known as Khovanov-Rozansky sl(n) link homologies.
