I will present a combinatorial algorithm for computing the degrees of the representations in the coinvariant algebra of a classical Weyl group, in the same spirit as the Stanley-Lusztig algorithm in type A, but using domino rather than Young tableaux. Along the way I will point out an unexpected connection between these degrees and Kazhdan-Lusztig cells.
