The process of creating a course webpage is similar to the process of creating a personal webpage, except that you should use a different name than index.html (e.g., math411.html) for the file. Your course webpage will then be located at

math.umass.edu/~username/math411.html

for example. To get a link from your standard departmental web page to your course page, follow the instructions at editing directory pages.
