Dr. Yossi Chait's research focuses on chronic kidney disease, taking an integrated approach that combines biomedical engineering, clinical nephrology, mathematical modeling, feedback systems, system identification, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based implementation to develop more effective treatments. His current clinical applications aim to individualize hypertension management using bioimpedance cardiography, accurately estimate blood volume and design an ultrafiltration profile for improved fluid management in hemodialysis, and develop optimal dosing algorithms for anemia management.
