Jeannine Blake, PhD, RN, Elaine Marieb College of Nursing
Jeannine Blake is a PhD prepared nurse scientist with a clinical background in surgical intensive care nursing now serving as an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Elaine Marieb Center for Nursing and Engineering Innovation at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After receiving her PhD in Nursing Science from EMCON in 2022, she went on to complete a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. In her position at EMCON, she continues her program of research studying Intravenous Smart Pump safety and flow. Dr. Blake is on a mission to improve patient outcomes and nursing workflow by disrupting the status quo through a combination of nursing and engineering approaches to employ innovative research methods and device development strategies.
