Senior Emma Roush broke a Rogers Pool record for the 3-meter dive on January 27 with a score of 344.33, besting the previous mark of 336.23, set by Michaela Butler ’14 in 2013. The kinesiology major from Overland Park, Kansas, also set a new conference championship and pool record (332.20) three weeks later, winning her fourth-straight 1-meter-dive title at the A-10 Championships in Geneva, Ohio. She finished second in the 3-meter event, behind Maja Boric ’20 and ahead of Katie Polk ’19, in a UMass sweep of the top three spots. For the third straight year, Roush was named Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Diver at the championships.
