Annalisa Flynn ’20, a sustainable food and farming major, spent her summer as a pest scout, examining vegetable plants and reporting her findings to Massachusetts farmers. Her work was part of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment’s (CAFE) Summer Scholars Program.
