Two Ways to Get Your Master’s Degree in Labor Studies
At UMass Our Master’s degree in Labor Studies is offered in two different formats:
1) Accelerated Residential Program: A full-time, 1.5-year residential program on UMass Amherst Campus.
This program is suitable for students who are able to come spend a year of intensive study with us on-campus.
2) Limited Residency Programs: Part-time, 2.5-year Union Leadership and Activism (ULA) and Union Leadership and Activism for Educators (ULA(Ed)) programs.
These programs are for workers who want to maintain their current employment, but are able to come to campus on a limited basis for intensive study.
