The Learning Resource Center (LRC) and Office of Undergraduate Research and Studies (OURS) offer a variety of study skills, time management, academic success in college, and research readiness workshops to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and other Student Groups at UMass Amherst.

How do LRC Academic Success Workshops work?

  • Student Group/Organization expresses interest by reaching out to the LRC.
  • LRC assigns a staff member who will be presenting to your students. 
  • A convenient time for the interactive workshop is scheduled. Please plan on dedicating 50-60 minutes for a workshop.  
  • The assigned staff member travels to your choice of venue and presents to your students. Students meet and make a connection with LRC/OURS staff.
