Dr. E Bruce Brooks obtained his MusB from Oberlin Conservatory in 1958, and his PhD from the University of Washington in 1968. In addition to serving as Adjunct Professor and Graduate Faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dr. Brooks is the Director of the Warring States Project. Dr. Brooks has supported the East Asian Languages & Cultures program by giving courses, perparing students to give papers at major conferences, and assisting with masters' theses.
