New Students and Returning Students who Do Not Have Their Key

Before you arrive to campus, please log in to SPIRE>Main Menu>Move-In Reservation to sign your Key Agreement.  Students who have not signed their key agreement may experience delays when they arrive to campus.  When you arrive to campus please proceed to your unload zone and then walk to your Residential Service Desk to pick up your room key.

Students can find a video tutorial for completing your Key Agreement here.

Make a Move-In Reservation

In order to maintain social distancing within residence hall lobbies and elevators and to reduce traffic congestion, we will be employing the Move-In Reservation system during the most popular arrival times. Students planning to arrive on campus on January 23 and 24 will make a Move-In Reservation on Spire.

Your Move In Reservation will provide you with a 60 minute arrival window. Students are expected to complete their move in within 30 minutes of arrival at their unloading zone. Students are strongly encouraged to have no more than a single move-in helper. Helpers may not remain in the residence halls to assist students with room set up and should plan to depart campus as soon as the student’s items are in the room.

Students arriving after 8:00pm on January 23 or outside of the move in reservation window on January 24 do not need to make a Move-In Reservation.  Students arriving during the Early Arrival period do not need to make a Move-In reservation. Students who are not planning on bringing a vehicle into an unloading zone do not need to make a move in reservation.

Move-In Reservation will be available January 14 through January 20 at 4 pm.  Due to expected high volume of users in SPIRE, students will have a designated start time to log in to Move-In Reservation based on their residence hall. Students will be able to change their move in reservation at any time while the application is open. Please view the Move-In Reservation Schedule to determine when you can select a Move-In time. To make a Move-In Reservation, navigate to SPIRE>Main Menu>Residential Life>Move-In Reservation

Students who are Returning to the Same Assignment and Have Their Key

Before you arrive to campus, please log in to SPIRE>Main Menu>Residential Life>Spring Check-In to verify that you have the correct key.  By completing Spring Check-In, students are verifying that you plan to live on campus for spring.  Students who are not sure that they are returning to campus are encouraged to wait until they are sure they are returning before completing this form.  Students who do not complete this form may have their assignment cancelled as a No-Show and will be subject to the cancellation fee schedule.

Please Note: Some keys have a 'floating' letter, which can be found either above or below the key code.  If all letters and numbers are on your key, then you have the correct key.  Please only mark the key code as 'wrong' if the letters and numbers do not match.

Students can find a video tutorial for completing their Spring Check-In here.
