Residence Education Graduate Assistant Positions

Applications for Fall 2022- Spring 2023 are open! 

Each year Residence Education seeks qualified applicants for several graduate assistant opportunities.

Applications are accepted from current and potential graduate students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Candidates must be enrolled as full-time graduate students in a degree-granting program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst before being offered a position. Please refer to the specific position description for additional minimum and preferred qualifications.

The Priority Deadline for Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 applications was February 28, 2022 at 11:59 PM. 

We have filled all of our vacant positions for the Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 academic year. 
Applications submitted after the priority deadline will not be reviewed until the waitlist of candidates who applied prior to the priority deadline has been exhausted. 

The waitlist will remain active through February 1, 2023, to fill and vacancies arise during the Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 academic year.

The following are positions within Residence Education: 

Assistant Residence Director Position - 20 hours*

Assistant Residence Director/Apartment Living (North) - 20 hours*

Learning Communities Graduate Assistant / ARD - 20 hours*

*Live-in position - Furnished apartment provided as part of the compensation package
