Jack Sweeney-Taylor Master of Regional Planning Candidate

Jack pursues his Master’s of Regional Planning degree after teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in middle and elementary schools in NYC and Western Massachusetts for eleven years and more recently serving as TerraCorps Community Engagement Coordinator with Kestrel Land Trust in Amherst. His background in education, language learning, and accessing open space guides his interest in participatory processes in land use decision-making and community-driven development. He is curious about how physical and mental spaces inform one another, and planning for both economic opportunity and cultural expression. He is passionate about soccer, Spanish, the seasons, peppers, and drawing.
