Bio

Hongbing is a registered landscape architect and an elected member of American Professional Artist League. She has over 20 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, architecture, and urban planning. Hongbing’s research interest in her doctoral studies embraces green infrastructure, coastal resilience, and sponge city practice to combat climate change. A native of Beijing, Hongbing holds a B. Arch degree from Tsinghua University in China, a graduate diploma from School of Architecture at McGill University in Canada, and master's degrees of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning from University of Massachusetts. She is a co-founder of LANDD International LLC, a landscape architectural practice in the Greater Boston area, and also an adjunct faculty member at the Boston Architectural College, teaching watercolor, mixed media art and site engineering.
