After taking on diverse professional roles, including non-profit program director & administrator, events manager, and neuromovement & special needs educator, Emily is now redirecting her skills and experiences towards a Master of Regional Planning. Her primary interest areas are economic development, downtown revitalization, and in-migration in small towns and rural communities. In addition to her studies, Emily is currently serving as the SCD Peer Advisor. When not on UMass time, Emily is known to whip up a good meal for her family and friends, enjoy the cultural scene and beautiful land of Western Mass, or sit back to watch a movie.
