Ella is a Master of Regional Planning candidate on the 4+1 track. In May 2022, Ella graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Community Development and an undergraduate certificate in Geographic Information Science and Technology. Ella’s primary academic interest falls in the sustainable transportation realm. Ella has experience interning for state-level agencies doing economic development as well as transportation-related work. Ella’s greatest wish would be to move to Japan and pursue transportation-related work there, but for the foreseeable future would enjoy working in a U.S. city as a transportation planner. In her free time, Ella likes to hike, bike, find new music, cook, explore new areas, and spend time with friends and family
