Bio

Long before I held a degree, I designed houses and improvised shelters for my childhood pets. Now, I have worked as a registered architect in Romania for over three years and received a Master in Architecture at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest, Romania. I have learned that architecture by itself cannot ensure the right evolution of urban spaces. I have thus pursued a second Master through a Fulbright scholarship that allows me to study how to establish open, respectful, and inclusive dialogue among relevant stakeholders in the process of urban planning, and to learn how other cultures deal with transcultural issues like rapid urban growth. I have previously studied and worked in Argentina, Spain, and Thailand, and am excited to explore how the United States approaches such challenges, with the hope of helping to inform future European urban planners.
