The Spanish and Portuguese Program was on the game day scene at McGuirk Alumni Stadium at our tabling event to connect with students, fans, and the broader UMass community in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15-10/15). Their presence was covered in UMass News here.
We welcomed visitors to chat about what we do, grab program swag, and learn more about our upcoming Open House (click here for more information). Students competed for SpanPort t-shirts by singing songs and thinking of as many words as they could in Spanish or Portuguese!
The highlight of the day was seeing our Open House featured on the Manganaro Family Scoreboard during the game, inviting everyone to join us on Wednesday, October 14, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in 301 Herter Hall to have some pizza and learn more about majors, minors and certificate programs!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
