The Department of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning at UMass Amherst (UMass LARP) is proud to announce the release of its new annual magazine, Wilder Times.
About Wilder Times
On October 5, 1972, a group of UMass LARP graduate students published the first issue of a new department newsletter, Wilder Times. Over the next 30 years, Wilder Times evolved alongside its growing editorial team, advances in technology, and LARP’s rise as a leader in landscape architecture and planning scholarship and education. The 2007 issue marks the last copy of Wilder Times currently housed in the W.E.B. Du Bois Library archives at UMass Amherst. As the passion, innovation, and impact of the department continue to grow, LARP is proud to revive Wilder Times as a new annual magazine. This renewed publication celebrates the students, faculty, and alumni who are using design and planning to foster hope in a more resilient future.
