The Department has two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees and a two-year Associates Degree (AS).

The BS in Sustainable Community Development (BSSCD) is a flexible curriculum that trains students to lead change toward more equitable, ecological, economically strong, and resilient communities.

The BS of Landscape Architecture (BSLA) is a professionally accredited, studio-based degree teaching the design of aesthetically pleasing, culturally appropriate and environmentally sound landscapes.

The AS in Landscape Contracting builds professional skills in the design, implementation, and maintenance of landscape projects.

Our programs promote fast-track follow-on degrees.  The BSLA allows a shorter MLA; the SCD enables a 4+1 option in which the Master of Regional Planning takes only one additional year.  The SCD can be completed in 3 years with some summer work.  And the LC degree can provide a strong entry to the BSLA, SCD or other Bachelors degrees.
