BSLA Junior Grace Kirkpatrick recently presented her summer research at the Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment’s (CAFÉ) Summer Scholar Symposium.

Grace completed her research with LARP Professor Samantha Solano. Grace helped expand on Professor Solano’s work of a spatial analysis of ASLA award winning designs. She geo-referenced approximately 400 locations of winning firms and the spatial distributions of the ASLA awards jury across the years. Grace was able to learn new skills in ArcGIS Pro and mapping representation. The work was supported by CAFÉ and the Massachusetts Agricultural Experiment Station.
