RisingEMOTIONS was featured as one of five projects advocating for social change in the July 2025 issue of CODAzine, a digital publication by CODAworx, an organization that connects artists with creative opportunities.

RisingEMOTIONS was a public art project by Carolina Aragón, an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at UMass Amherst. In 2019 and 2020, the project surveyed South Boston residents about their feelings concerning flooding due to sea-level rise. The project expressed residents' emotions through a colorful, interactive art exhibit installed near the East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library.
