About the Speaker 

Bob Hruby, PLA, FASLA, joined Campion Hruby Landscape Architects as a principal in 2011 after working for sixteen years as a landscape architect at the prestigious firms Oehme, van Sweden & Associates and Clinton & Associates. Bob’s work spans from intimate urban gardens to large country estates, and includes retail centers, multi-family housing, and botanical gardens. He has been a recipient of many residential design awards, including a 2008 National Honor Award in Residential Design from the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts. His graduate studies included work at the James Rose Center, which influenced his practical and scholarly interest in garden design. He is a registered landscape architect in the state of Maryland and an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
